Images of the Past Gallery

Falmouth Working Boats - or Truro River Oyster Boats - have been sailing the waters of the River Fal for at least a century and a half.  The following images offer a fascinating record of these long established craft.

(It is hoped that this page can become a unique archive of images of Falmouth Working Boats down the years.  If you have any movies or images that you would like to include on this website, these would be most welcome.  They will be fully attributed to reflect their source.  Please make contact by sending an email via the Contacts Page.)
